Chalk Paint Dresser Makeover

by Nicole @ The Inspired Hive

My mom has had these two old dressers she's been wanting to update for years. I helped her update them to match her room with chalk paint and a white washing technique! The difference is amazing!
I love how they turned out! Ready for the before?
Here they are before! They didn't match at all. They were great solid wood pieces though. Just in need of a little love!
I painted them both with two coats of a dark grey chalk paint by DecoArt.
Then I made a grey wash to add texture to the drawers and tops. I also added a soft varnish to the drawers and tops to protect them from normal wear and tear.
Here's the finished product!
Visit my blog, Meet the B's, for details on how to white wash and to find out about those purple knobs!!!
