What would you say if I told you could TOTALLY MAKEOVER this ugly dresser with just paint and something you glue on the front!?
I just finished up a classy makeover for the Fab Furniture Flippin’ Contest™ for April! But it all started here…
I picked up this dresser from the neighbors curb, the paper sitting on the top says “FREE”. *My favorite price* BUT, it is ugly. Needless to say, this dresser was the perfect solution for shoes in the front entryway.
So, with some house paint and some craft paint, I mixed up a gray that worked with my entryway wall and went to town painting the dresser.
And my husband starting cutting this Overlay to the size I needed. He just used a utility knife (it was easy).
Next, I spray painted the overlay and when it was dry I glued it on the front of the dresser (I took the doors off and laid them flat).
And here it is! Doesn't it look pretty?! Remember the ugly dresser I started with?
I told you in the beginning... you can TOTALLY MAKEOVER an ugly dresser with just paint and something you glue on the front!

That is awesome! I love the lines of that panel. If you cant get a panel though you could be creative and still have a great piece;-
