Mid Century Mod Dresser

I am so excited today to share some progress in our Master Bedroom with you! We got a new to us piece of furniture that I absolutely love! Isn’t this mid-century modern dresser just gorgeous! maybe this style is not for you, maybe it is. One thing is for certain though, I love mid-century modern furniture, and I am elated to own this dresser.
This dresser is very solid and heavy. All I did to it was clean it up. It was still being used by LC’s grandmother when she passed. I left the original hardware on it because I like it. I wiped it down with Old English lemon oil and let it soak in. I do this with my wood furniture every few years. I also wiped inside of the drawers with a rag soaked in vinegar. This takes the old musty smell out of old furniture like this.
Now it smells fresh and clean, and the vinegar odor goes away quickly.
This dresser will stay in our family for as long as I can help it. Hopefully one of my children will have it in their home one day.
