This Drexel was just begging me to bring it into the current century! ...ok Decade. But I had to to answer the call! So when I found out the was sponsored by General Finishes, I knew it was time. Time to see where General Finishes and the Geometric Design theme would take me with this gorgeous Bombay Chest!
Drexel Heritage Bombay-Meet the Amazing General Finishes :-)
My gorgeous Drexel Heritage Bombay Chest! Solid Structure-just needs to be prettied up and the finish was quite worn and chipped.
General Finishes is an absolute favorite of mine. No matter the look I want to achieve, they have the DEPENDABLE products to get there!
...I was initially looking to get to Emerald,.. but I just didnt make it that far..
I also had Snow White on hand so, I had to bump up the handles!
Unbelievable to me that General Finishes was so generous! They provided me with this awesome can of Champagne Pearl Effects!
..just a tad translucent for the look I wanted, so i mixed equal parts Snow White with it!
I used an artist brush to get into the tiny details and wiped away the excess
I used the glaze, custom blue mix and my snow white to fade in the geometric design stencil.
I sanded back to bring out the details just a little more!
...my pretty...
What a fun contest! Have you checked out the ! Be sure to vote for your favorite Entry!
