Old Dresser to an Entry Bench

Found this old dresser and wanted to create something more interesting.
Before and after.
A solidly built dresser, but a little plain. What to do?
Nice drawers...Maybe a bench
If I cut out this side and build sides, it just could work.
I had to build a support for the seat and made a cushion but didn't like the way it looked.
So I made a different cushion that I like better.
Added the other one for a back and fell in love!

This is the first DIY furniture flip I’ve wanted to attempt. It’s also first comment I’ve made. Definitely need to know the steps. Unless I’m missing something, there are only before and after pictures. Please update with a tutorial so I can make this beautiful piece you’ve done so well.
