Child's Chair Makeover

We acquired this adorable child's chair from our church family in Louisville, KY. I totally could have grabbed 3 more, but didn't want to show my greedy side...I regret that now. Anyhooooo, here is the before:
A little yellow, a lot scratched and cracked and splattered. My biggest issue is the yellow.
Time to bring this little goodie into the 1800's instead of mid 1900. KnowwhatImeanVern?
After sanding off the years and years of dirty little hand (which I love btw), I put on a coat of dark walnut stain. Oh, what a difference a little stain makes.
Yep, I'm in love with it.
