Make your own headboard with a vintage sheet and wood art frames - it's SO simple!

It's easy to make your own headboard using pre-cut wooden art frames! I backed our headboard with a gorgeous vintage sheet, but you can use anything your heart desires - fabric, paper, mirrors, etc. (or just leave the frames empty! They're quite stunning as-is!).

The headboard is made in a way that allow you to easily change out the pattern as frequently as you desire! The whole project took about two hours to assemble (not including the painting), and cost less than a store bought headboard!

where did you get the art frames? I really like this look. We recently bought a lake house and need 3 new headboards. This is the first DIY headboard that I like. Thank you.

I absolutely love this and I'm definitely doing this when we move into our new home I have an awesome bed but need a headboard and this is PERFECT!!
