Turn inexpensive Ikea tables into colorful works of art!
I used Ikea Lack tables which are always easy to find but this technique can be done on all different kinds of tables.

Watch how easy they are to make here!
I hit the 99c store for yarn in every color for this project to keep it in budget and still have lots left over for other projects.
I painted my tables with Americana Decor Satin Enamels to add even more color but you could leave them white if you wanted. E-6000 Glue is perfect for securing the legs when the table is put together. You don't when them moving at all or it will loosen the yarn.
If you're worried about the top, just add a piece of glass or plexiglass. I prices pieces to fit at about $30 but I'll bet you could get it for less.
A close up and now that I think about it, this seems like a cat's dream!
