Mid Century Step Tables Get a Geometric Mid Century Update!

I picked up two Mid Century Modern (MCM) step tables for next to nothing. I loved the sleek lines of the levels and the legs and decided to give them a fun MCM style update. I searched the web and of course Pinterest for inspiration. There are so many fun designs from that era. I was considering the atomic look, with some Sputnik looking stars but then I found my inspiration in a fum multi level plant stand.

Using narrow painters' tape, I randomly taped out my design.

They look like Game room tables....game room paint....I like the fact of the plant idea.......clever, but I would choose a different paint or stain. Thank you!
