If you have a Dollar General, go to where they sell plastic bags, storage bags, etc. I found for my mom for I believe $1-2 a round hanger completely covered with a soft felt like material so the scarfs won't slip. It had about 6 or 7 round openings but you could put more on each opening. Even better, there were 2 in a package. -

How about hanging biner rings or shower curtain rings over a regular hanger an then using those as hooks for your scarves?
