Leticia....If you have a room for this it might work. I would put a shelf at the top of the wall but away from the ceiling enough to turn the bill out so the design can be seen if there is one on the cap. Just line them up so others can see what he has collected over the years.

You can use a clothes pin to secure it to the peg. https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&hs=A7W&tbm=shop&sxsrf=ACYBGNR6zOCy9ZLfylae5k10dAAgqvxB3g%3A1574827344787&ei=UPXdXc3OL8vP0PEP34yY0Ac&q=wooden+folding+hanger&oq=wooden+folding+hanger&gs_l=psy-ab-sh.12...183409.190286.0.193861.21.14.0.7.7.0.268.1902.0j13j1.14.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab-sh..0.16.1453...0j0i67k1.0.mM3gKhqTtgs#spd=11290135741692844677

Hi Leticia, I saw a really cute idea at a friend's house. They used plastic shower curtain hooks that were clipped to a hanger and the back strap of the baseball caps. About 10 hats could fit on each hanger and not get squished! So clever.
