I hate my mirrored sliding closet doors and I need ideas

My husband and I each have a closet and they are mirrored. I hate them. (1970s) What can I do with them?
Partion panels might be a good solution if the room is big enough to allow for one.
Hi Samantha. I agree with Anita about the partition. Perhaps you could find or build cubby shelves. Add storage baskets on the lower shelves for the kids. Top ones for you on the opposite side. 😊
Instead of buying you can build one easily and choose your own fabric.
Adding a curtain to separate the space won't help with sound, but could help hide clutter from kids.

As for the privacy, get four short (about 4 foot) bookcases. Stack one on top of the other and another set next to it. Put the higher ones to face you and the lower ones to face the kids. Screw them together and to the floor and ceiling for stability. You get the higher storage on your side and they get the lower storage on their side. Get baskets to store things in them.
