How do I get the best Dremel?




Budding artist needs to make holes in wood, lighter metals & hard plastic. I bought a regular type drill that didn't work well, so returned it. Someone suggested a Dremel with various bits. I'm needing suggestions on dremels please!

Hi Tamara, dremel is a brand name, but I think you just need to look for a reputable name and you will do good, lots of stores actually have knock offs as well. Here is a list of the 10 best rotary tools

Get Protective Eyewear and Gloves.
I have the Dremel Stylo and I like it. It's smaller and fits in my hand nicely. And it's very quiet. It came with a nice selection of bits, but you can buy more for it as well. It's not as powerful as the larger ones, though. But good for what I use it for.
