DIY Dress Up Storage for Kids

Do you have dress up clothes all over the place in your kid’s spaces? Make these easy DIY dress up storage rack for kids using our free woodworking plans and tutorial. Your little ones will love this DIY dress up closet!
Step 1: Cut wood according to the woodworking plans. Lightly sand all pieces with orbital sander starting with 80 grit sandpaper and working your way up to 150 grit.
Step 2: Drill pocket holes as shown in the plans. We used the Kreg 720 Pro pocket hole jig.
Step 3: Assemble storage rack as shown in the free woodworking plans (link below).
Step 4: Create pocket hole plugs using the custom pocket hole plug cutter and fill all holes with wood glue and plugs.
Step 5: Sand everything smooth with 150 grit sandpaper and orbital sander.
Step 6: Seal or paint. We used Linseed Oil for a natural finish.
