Hi, it’s Brittany from Our Home Made Easy! I am passionate about sharing easy DIY projects around the house for other busy families.
Today I wanted to share how you can make a cute & quick table top wine rack with a Kreg Jig! It makes for an inexpensive gift.
You can see the full tutorial on OurHomeMadeEasy here.
Start with a 1" x 6" board. Cut it down to (2) 12 inch long pieces and (1) 9 inch long board.
Next, you'll make your openings on the 12 inch long boards.
Using a hole saw, center your cuts at the 3.25 inch & 8 inch marks. Repeat for both pieces of wood.
Using your Kreg Jig, create 4 pocket holes on the bottom of your 9-inch piece.
This will connect each 12-inch wood board to create a ‘U’ shape. Once you have it assembled, sand it down to a smooth finish.
My husband used a router to smooth the holes. Definitely not needed to keep this project quick & simple!
Lastly, paint your wine rack. We went with a mineral paint in a soft white color. No top coat or wax was needed. You could stain your wine rack or paint it any color.
