Functional Sofa Table

The sofa table makes the living room looks bigger. It gives depth and the illusion of a large space. But I added an outlet with a USB ports and made it more functional as a charging station, a remotes spot, a place where I can put my cup of coffee and other cute decorations.
i got a board from lows 7 inches wide and 8 feet long. Note: choose a board that doesn’t bend. Trim the board on the desired length. For the legs, i used 4 stairs balusters. Trim them also on the sofa’s back hight.
Screw and secure the legs with the board. It’s better to first make holes and then screw them. That can avoid the legs to not crack.
to stabilize the legs, cut a small piece of the balusters leftover and connect it with The bottom of each legs sides. You will form a rectangle as shown in the last picture.
i ordered online this furniture recessed power strip. With a manual or a jigsaw make a rectangle And insert the power strip in it.
finally, paint the table with a color of your choice.
Install the table behind your sofa And Plug in the wire to the wall outlet. You can decorated with lamps, vases, candles or books. It’s a nice and functional addition To your living space.
Even though, I'm planning to add more table In the future.
