I have an 8 footer, it is four foot square and two butterfly flaps that come out and there supported on two pull out arms either side, its old but really serviceable, I'm getting it stripped after criggy -

If you are a woodworker this is great. Be aware that this will cost way more than buying a table at a thrift store. -

When you say "extensions" do you mean drop leaves? Or something that slides out under the four foot main table? If you have two pedestal legs, wouldn' t they be abutting each other if the main part of the table is only four feet? Pedestals would have to be at least 3 parts and wide enough to be stable and (I would think) would require quite a bit of carpentry skills.
