Ever thought of starting an herb garden? Well I’ve been wanting to grow an herb garden in my kitchen for THE LONGEST TIME! But I just never got around to it. And I always wanted a vertical garden. So I thought, why not merge the two. So I created an indoor vertical herb garden, where freak snow storms in March are a non factor. I made my planters all using recylced flooring. This is a totally green project all around. I also used caulking from an old project as a sealant for the planters and lined the planters with painter's plastic that I had left over from another. You don't need to buy anything new to do this. You just have to think outside of the box and use what you have.

Don't let weather like this stunt your growth!
- 4 – 5 ft chains
- 7 mil painters plastic
- DAP Kitchen, Bath Sealant or Caulking
- Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray, Gold
- Thompson Water Seal
- 4- ARROW 3″ Ceiling Hook
Start by assembling the planter. Using my brad nailer I was able to put each planter together in 10 minutes tops.
Seal the planters with Thompson water seal
apply caulking to the seams

And hang your beautiful plants. Label to add a personal touch and to keep track of what you've got planted.
