Cutting very thin plywood- Is there an easier way?

Use masking tape on each side. this will make the cuts on point and prevent any splintering. If possible, your best bet is to have it cut in the hardware store you purchased it. They will cut it at no charge.Helpful Reply -

Put a few long boards like 2 x4s under the plywood across the saw horses the opposite direction. Then just move it over after you have cut up to it with your jigsaw. I would put a piece of tape on the cut line to prevent it from splintering.Helpful Reply -

If you can get someone to help hold the wood for you while you cut that would be best. We use our table saw with a fine blade.Helpful Reply -
