Measure diagonally from corners; where the lines cross will be the center.Helpful Reply -

Find the cener of opposite walls. Take a chalk line and snap it over the middle of the room to connect those two center points across from one another. Then go to the adjacent wall and snap another chalk line across the room. You should have a "+" sign that meets in the center of the room.Helpful Reply -

Measure each wall and dive in 2. Mark tape at the 1/2 way point. Then take Masking tape and run from the middle of each wall to the center of the room. The place they intersect is the middle.Helpful Reply -

Measure the length and divide by 2. For example if the room is 10.5 feet (10 ft 6 inches), half of that is 5.25 feet (5 feet 3 inches).Helpful Reply -

Forgot to say, so the middle is the number you get when you divide by 2. If the room is exactly 12 feet, then then middle is 6 and so forth.Helpful Reply -

If your room is a square or rectangle, take a clothesline or other piece of rope and stretch it from one corner, diagonally across the room, take another piece and stretch it between the remaining two corners. That will give you the exact center of the room.Helpful Reply -
