Will your will you foot be completely on the stone when walking, or be off of it a bit? You want the foot to be completely on the stone. Thsts how you need to sort out the usable ones. Next question..how long a walk and where? Some times just setting your flatter rock in place, taking a knife arround the edges of it to cut thru the grass, removing the grass will do. -

Hi Jom, Start by laying them where you want them to be, then when happy with design either sink them into the ground so they are flush with soil . orStart by making a concrete path and pushing them into surface. Have fun!
