What do you suggest to use for a patio?

We are tearing down our above ground pool and deck. Wanting to do some type of patio. What is suggested they we use? We have very rocky ground.

A concrete pad, or landscape pavers, won't require you to dig a significant foundation or have the maintenance issues of a wooden deck. -
