How to Clean a Bagless Vacuum

Clean your bagless vacuum and filter every two months to keep it running well. Disassemble your vacuum and rinse the plastic pieces in warm water.
Empty the dirt cup.
Rinse canister in warm water
Rinse filter until water runs clear, some filters cannot get wet, check your manual for instructions.
Remove hair and strings from roller brush with a seam ripper or scissors

    Really good tip and advice, I have had my vacuum for nearly 16, yep sixteen years and I think that is because it is cleaned after every use, with a full filter wash and clean once a month.
