I started with a cramped, dirty fridge after many months of neglect. I found some science experiments at the bottom of my cheese drawer that I'd really wish I could unsee, but nonetheless, you have to start somewhere. Start by ridding your fridge of expired items.

Each and every item in your fridge should be hand inspected and confirmed that it's still worthy of being eaten.

After you've purged, get started on the cleaning.

I started in the right side door and got started. I would HIGHLY recommend using a steam cleaner for this project, like the AutoRight Steam Cleaner, because it got rid of our messes in SECONDS rather than tons of scrubbing.

I steam cleaned every inch of my fridge and used 7th Generation multi-surface cleaner to help it along. The steam kills all the germs and the gunk just washes off of the tray. You dry it off, then tackle the next mess.

You can see all the details on my blog for what I did next...but the AFTER was so amazing. I just keep opened my fridge and marveling at it's organization and cleanliness--and how much ROOM we have now! Man, I need to get groceries!!

The shelves are removeable, yes? When mine get dirty, I transfer items to other spots, remove from fridge, place in sink. Rinse well, add cleaning compounds as needed.
Much easier than renting a steam cleaner and sitting in front of the fridge letting the contents warm up while the doors are open.

Is LG a good product, I bought a set from sears 5 years + still going strong.” But it hasn’t been spinning very good lately And I am afraid it’s starting to go right after the warranty

I have a bottom freezer that just keeps getting items piled on top of others to the point I don't know what I have. Any tips for getting the freezer organized?

I remove my shelves and run them through the dishwasher if needed otherwise just let hot water run over them and wipe them with a paper towel.
