I recently used a magic eraser in mine and it helped quiet a bit.

Using a white cloth and a pair of rubber gloves. Wet your cloth and ring it out then put enough bleach on it to make it a little bit more wet and rub down your handle or any parts that need it. Rinse cloth very well and wipe the areas until you think you got all the bleach off. I'm sure you will see a difference.
