  • I don't know if you can do this in yours or not, but mine has an area that will hold water allowing for it to create steam when in cleaning cycle - steam is great at breaking things up. You might also wish to pull a quick search on here for oven clean as I recall seeing a few posts on it

Not sure this will work with oven, but 1/4 cup baking soda and enough hydrogen peroxide [medicinal grade, not the 20% kind for hair bleach] to make a paste, rubbed on and let to sit will clean cookies sheets and pans.

Make a paste of baking soda and a little water. Apply and leave for 24hrs. Wipe clean!

I use baking soda , sprinkle on the oven and mist with plain water, let sit overnight, get a bucket of warm water and sponge. Clean, tough spots may need a second coat of baking soda. I have been cleaning my ovens for years with success, no chemicals needed and it is a self cleaning oven but the smell is awful, this is a healthier way

Have you tried leaving a pan of vinegar in the oven overnight?

1/2Ammonia/ 1/2HOT water soaked towel laid on the door for an ample amount of time, you can lift & check to see if the material is softened enough that you won't have to scrub. I use it on baked on pans & crock pots too. It powers through the hardened stuff! :) Hope this helps!

If you mean the oven window, try a razor blade scraper...worked fine for us and didn;t scratch the glass. I've used the ammonia in a plastic trash bag overnight to clean oven racks and it works!! I'd try Denise Weick's suggestion. Good luck!
