We use Drano at our house! Works like a charm. You could also try boiling a pot of hot water to see if it will allow it loosen up and do that a few times.Helpful Reply -

Pour baking soda down the drain . If you have a double sink, make sure that the stopper is in the other side have an old rag handy and use it to plug the clogged sink after you pour about a cup of white vinegar over the baking soda (think high school science project volcano . ) Wait about 30 minutes , then pour boiling water down the sink. That should do the trick !Helpful Reply -

I use plain old coca cola, a two litre bottle ought to do it. Pour slowly and let sit overnight and then rinse really well with hot water. I would boil a pot or kettle of water for this.Or . . . Call plumber and let hubster not complain about the cost . . .Luckily my ex is a really good cook so this never happened to us. But non cooking guests have, so I get it.Helpful Reply -
