How to clean metal rails in shower where heavy glass slides?

They don't slide without strong force.

Take doors out/lift up & remove, mix hot water Dawn dish soap little vinegar pour in rails And use stiff bristled brush. Rinse well add a little slicone lubricant when done. If doors don't lift out you can still do it just do one side then the other moving doors back & forth to get all gunk out of rail.
Check the rollers to ensure they are holding glass up. Most cleaners will clean the tracks.
it sounds like the door is off track. some of the shower doors hang from the top rail, others have ball bearings in the bottom rail.
