I recently had a ceramic tile shower and floor installed which are wood look with crevices. The floor looks beautiful but the shower tiles which are wood look have a white build up on them. Looks like soap scum and its not grout because the grout is brownish to match the tile. I have tried everything to clean it even vinegar.

I would try baking soda or a Magic Eraser.

Check out "wet & forget shower". It is the only thing I have found that will keep my shower clean. It is a no scrub shower cleaner that works slowly over time. I applied twice a week in the beginning and now weekly. Available at walmart.com, Lowe's, and qvc (where there is a great video).

Spray with a solution of Jet Dry Finish and water (80-90% water). Leave on overnight, then scrub. To prevent this from reoccurring, spray with same solution after every shower, rinse, and use squeegee.

After you get it clean switch from bar soap (that hardens when dry) to liquid soap.
