Removing Nasty Toilet Stains
Hello! Tang - koolaid and other internet hack internet recommendations did not work for my toilet hard water stains/ ring.
Its a frustrating situation, then I discovered the answer and Ive been smiling since!
My solution was the pumice stick. This is excellent way to remove stains and rings in the toilet. When commercial toilet cleaners fail -this is my go to. Great for thick crusted calcium mineral build up that the toilet waterbowl collcts.
They are found at my local Walmart for less than two dollars -good for multiple uses.
Be sure to follow the use instructions, soaking the pumice stone in water for a few minutes. While the stone is soaking, grab your toilet brush and splash water up around the ring. Note: It’s very important to keep both the stone and the surface wet while cleaning to avoid scratching your porcelain.
I hope this solves your problem, as it was my perfect cleaning solution.
I was just going to recommend the Scouring Stick and saw it was already suggested. I've used it and it works!
I use Soft Scrub, great smell and removes any stain from our toilet.

Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub.
bleach .. it all depends what dirt is that ..lol
Hi Gail, we throw a chlorine pool tablet in the toilet tank. It works for us and it keeps the toilet smelly fresh too.
Thanks sooo much - not sure tho that would work in septic tanks😳
