My couch smells like dog urine and I can’t get rid of the smell. I have tried vinegar, baking soda, I have steam cleaned my couch. Nothing helps, please do you have any recommendations???

Hi Brenda,
You could also try an enzyme cleaner which would be available at pet stores. Enzyme cleaners neutralize the urine scent of anything organic - such as dog urine. Wishing you the best.
Try this! The BEST stuff I have EVER used and I have used all of them!

My poor old little old dog just had a messy accident last night on light beige carpet. Don't get grossed out...but it was very dark brown. I cleaned up what I could with paper towels leaving dark brown stains behind. I sprayed this on--left it on for about 10 minutes and then used paper towels to blot up the excess moisture. There are NO dark brown stains--they disappeared in those 10 minutes--and there is NO smell. I believe I found it at Target or WalMart. The bottle says you can also use it in your carpet cleaner along with your carpet soap and your water! I am going to do that next--clean my carpet with this stuff in it. Maybe you could also do that with a steam cleaner for your couch. I am going to look for a bigger bottle on Amazon! This stuff is AWESOME. I just looked--it's about $6.00 for a 32 fl oz bottle at Walmart!
Do you know exactly where the spot is that the dog peed on the couch? I would use a handheld Bissell cleaner for spot cleaning on upholstery. Put a carpet cleaner formula in the machine and spray with the nozzle. Lightly scrub and suck up all the liquid. It does wonders to remove stains and you can also use this method on rugs. This will help remove the stain as well as the urine scent. If that doesn't seem to help start using some spray ODOBAN!!! This stuff is amazing and works great to remove pet odors. Good luck!
At pet stores you can get a liquid enzyme product called Nature's MIracle, follow the directions, many have had success with it.
I have found that using a emzyme product that breaks down the urine is the best answer. I picked up a gallon of Pet Zyme at my local pet store. It broke down the urine itself making clean up a breeze.
I agree with the enzymatic cleaner. The problem you may run into however, is that the previous cleaners you have used may interfere with the enzymes if there's residue still in the fabric
use odor ban it will take the odors out
There is a product called EnviroCon. Our duct cleaning business used it a germicidal in the cleaned ducts. It works on fabric too. https://www.steam-brite.com/nikro-862149s-envirocon-hvac-systems-environmental-deodorizer-p-93118.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA6IHwBRCJARIsALNjViU-sXtWaMc7lyhS22Gqw5nSUw7iODkB0hPdTEuk7044vYtjO0cwNYMaAvSrEALw_wcB
I use a product called Nature's Miracle. I think I purchased it in Petco. It comes in a white spray bottle with red writing. I hope this is helpful!
Odoban should get it.
