How do you wash and care for Terrazzo floors?

We just bought a 50 year old home which has terrazzo floors throughout the house. The floors are in great shape and I would like to have them stay that way. Any recommendations on cleaning them?

There isn't anything special we ever did - just don't use harsh chemicals. This stuff wears like iron! I'd simply check the labels to make sure terrazzo is an included surface. Oh, and make sure you've got a mat in any area that might get wet - if you slip it also feels like you've landed on iron! Cheers!
