Do you want to reface the cabinet or just clean the outside off?

It really depends on how much grease and grime are on the cabinets. If the cabinets have not been cleaned in ages, you may have to scrape off the grease and grime first. Then you want to use a Greece-eating dish detergent, something like blue Dawn, combined with vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe down and when finished, use a product something like Murphy’s oil.

Thank you Janet. I was thinking to use vinegar with dish detergent but worry the cabinet will have spots.

I used a combination of salt mixed with olive oil. Mix into a paste. Rub on, the oily grime comes off. Wipe clean. This was on Pinterest.
