The tape lint rollers work pretty well. My dog has been trained to not get on the furniture, but he does rub up against the side.
I just wipe my fabric areas with a barely damp wash cloth. The fur just rolls off. I'm afraid the clean chairs just invite our kitties more, but que sera. Rosie
