Getting grease off of wood

I'm looking for natural solutions to get grease off of cherry wood kitchen cabinets.

Get a box of (trisodium phosphate) at Home Depot or Lowe's and follow the directions to wash them with it. It cuts through it all. Wear rubber household gloves -- those (typically) yellow ones you wear to wash dishes and the like.
Murphy's oil soap, in thick application. Let set few minutes, scrub off. May have to repeat.
I've used TSP substitute and it works wonders.
I've had excellent results using Krud Kutter Kitchen Degreaser (All Purpose Cleaner). You may have to allow the solution to sit for a bit to penetrate the buildup and it may need more than one application. The great part is that this product is safe to use around food surfaces. One caveat: it does not work well on burnt on grease; e.g., stove burners.
