Hi Lin,I've always used this steam and polish. However, mine have been on wood. There are several other methods, including gently rubbing the wood with Vaseline or mayonnaise. I would try those methods first because paint usually isn't affected that much by water so I'm thinking it might actually be in the sealer or in the wood. If that's the case, one of these methods should work. If none of these methods work, you can try the method in the video below. Try a little bit of regular paste toothpaste, not the jell type. Wipe softly with a soft cloth. Then wipe all off with a soft damp cloth.
