How to Clean Bath Toys

Have you ever cleaned your bath toys? This was my first time and I was shocked jus how gross they were.

Gather all your supplies in a large sink. Combine 1/4 cup of vinegar for every gallon of water (16 cups of water) add the toys and let it soak for an hour or two. Most of our toys floated to the top so I had to squeeze them to fill them with water.

I held each of them under the light to look for mold inside the toys.

I cut it open just to confirm that there was growth inside of it. It was so gross. I threw away all the toys from this company just to be safe.

Squeeze out all the excess water/vinegar solution and rinse off with water. I lined them all up on a towel to dry overnight.

I still cannot believe how easily the bath toys can get mold in them. Crazy to think that bath toys that are often put into kids mouths could be filled with mold.

When was the last night you cleaned your bath toys?
