HELP! I've tried everything to clean my husband's fiberglass shower floor. Any suggestions? Any homemade cleaners I could use?

My cleaning service swears by toilet cleaner. After reading about and trying coconut oil on stainless steel -- it is amazing, i would try that. Maybe with à little baking soda.

Like a liquid Lysol toilet bowl cleaner type of thing?

The finish stuff that goes in dishwashers to keep glasses from clouding...it is thick ...smear it on the glass and let it sit then wipe with damp sponge or rag...it may take some elbow grease if it is really dirty but it worked on mine which I don't think the previous homeowner had ever cleaned.

if it is really bad use NO FUME oven cleaner. Even with that open the window!! Spray on, leave a while. Respray & scrub with scotchbrite & some elbow grease. Rinse real well, it is slippery.

Thick toilet bowl cleaner works great. I have used it for years. Wear gloves and make sure to keep it well ventilated.

Have you tried the Mr Clean Eraser? I love them and think they work great.

Bar keepers friend works wonders. Wet your shower floor, sprinkle bar keepers friend all over and spread it around. It will make a paste. For stubborn stains let sit a while after smearing it around go back and rub with your wrag again and rinse thouroughly. I also use it on chrome faucets to remove hard water spots.

Sue, my magic eraser worked! I combined blue Dawn, Cascade Rinse Aid, let it sit for 30 minutes and scrubbed with the magic eraser...Viola! clean like new! This picture is the after, in the before picture the floor is black

I read on the Internet years ago (so I can't take credit), to make a paste with a CHLORINE-based scouring powder (like Ajax or Comet) and bleach. I scrub it in with a $ store scrub brush) and leave it for a couple of hours then rinse. The first time it took a couple of tries. It is the only thing that works for us, and our pain is textured throughout. I

Hi Kathy, we make our own shower cleaner using vinegar and dawn dish soap. Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again.
