How do you get rust stains from a toilet?

My son bought a house and the toilet has really bad rust stains under the rim, how do I get them out? Feeling dirty! HELP!

Get Lime-A-Way or CLR will clean rust a away. You may have to do it a couple of time. If it is bad take paper towels & wet with one of the products push the paper towels around edge. Keep towels wet.
Agree with the above that's what I finally had to use was a pumice Stone. I bought a house that belonged to a 92 year old man and I'm not sure if he ever cleaned the toilet or if
anybody was ever brave enough to touch it LOL Anyway, I tried everything to no avail and about the time I was ready to give up I thought I'd try one more thing and that was a pumice stone. Is a little scrubbing not much it was a miracle. So save yourself a few dollars in a lot of aggravation and go to your closest hardware store and pick up a couple pumice stones you, you may need one for backup if you have boys or hard water stains LOL
Toilets are inexpensive - I'm buying a new one at that point
