What surfaces are you talking about cleaning?

I make my own dog treats also. I clean the pots, utensils and counters the same way I clean when I cook dinner. Making dog treats should be no different than baking cookies. If food is dried on, let it soak in hot water a while. I spray my kitchen counters with a bleach/water solution after, then wipe them down with a dry cloth.

Are you talking about the surface under which the dog is eating a treat?

What we have done, is using washable microfiber fiber throw blanket under the dog. We give our dog a Kong with filled plain yogurt- frozen overnite--every evening. It’s a special treat he’s trained, responsible for eating it “on the blanket” that’s protecting our carpeting.

Certainly other treats like -bananas, cooked sweet potatoes and peanut butter may be placed in the Kong as well. Again the blanket can be washed as needed and protects your carpets from stain and odor.

Go to Bed Bath and Beyond and buy Whip-it. This is a natural cleaner and you can safely drink it. Spray on spots and dab off with paper bowling or terry cloth. This works great.
