One of the biggest challenges to the home cook, burnt on gunk is really difficult to clean off. It partly depends on what the pot material is. If it is copper, a copper cleaner or ketchup and salt soaked on it for a while. If it is metal, barkeeper''s friend soaked on for a while, worse comes to worse, if you feel it will not damage the pot material, use oven cleaner. All will take a while and you will probably have to apply some elbow grease with one or more types of scrubbers, such as steel wool pads. There is no easy solution.Helpful Reply -
