Tracking Mold with Man's Best Friend

Meet Sam, one of about 50 dogs trained and certified to detect mold in the entire country. I had the pleasure of shadowing Sam and his handler Dave at a job site. Click the link to see how they do it.
Sam is a rescue dog from Florida with over 1,000 hours of training.
When Sam finds mold, he alerts (sits) and his handler Dave takes a sample.
Sam can small MVOC's (mold off-gasing) to pinpoint the exact location of mold.
Sam can detect at least 18 different families of mold.
