Granite requires regular sealing several times a year, with a special product that is sprayed on in 3' sections, let sit few minutes, buff dry. Tedious, but very effective. Water drips should be immediately wiped dry. Keeping a microfiber cloth nearby works well on granite. Do you have hard water? Can you add a softener system? Laminate can't get too wet or you run the risk of water seeping into seams. If it's calcium marks, you can use a Q tip dipped in white distilled vinegar, but don't leave it on long because vinegar, like acids, will etch granite.Helpful Reply -

Do not use any ammonia, vinegar, or lemon cleaners on granite. Although granite is an extremely tough surface, it is susceptible to acidic formulas, which eat away at its surface. Vinegar, and lemon all contain more acid than is safe for granite. Wash counters using a clean white cloth.Helpful Reply -
