Dollar Tree & other stores sell a product, Awesome. Sold as sprayer bottle, refill & they also have a grill cleaner. It is an amazing bargain! I use it as a laundry must-have for hubby's work jeans & shirts. He's a diesel mechanic & uses his clothing vs those red shop rags. Awesome is what I use to clean the back of baking pans when visiting friends/family. After using both racks to do eggs, rotating halfway thru. I ended up with fried egg shells. Just spray & let soak!
This was shared by another poster. It offers several options.

I recently used barkeeper's friend and steel wool to remove build up off some old pots.
Another option that worked well for me was marble paste or an SOS pad.
No matter what you do, there's a lot of "elbow grease" involved.
I would help it out by soaking in a blue Dawn and boiling water solution.
try making a paste with baking soda and water and scrub it

I use barkeepers friend on mine and it does wonders! Worth a shot.
I use Cerama Bryte, it's very similar to Bar Keeper's Friend.
