It is difficult when trying to organize your linen closet if the sheets are a mess, especially with fitted sheets! Here are directions on how to properly fold a fitted sheet so it comes out square like a flat sheet. I also created a cheat sheet for you to keep! Agree not good to put on floor; when no help available I use dining room table or other large piece of furniture. I've known this technique for years, regardless of what I do, whether alone or with help, always comes out a mess.

Put it on the bed too and fold.
