Are you planning on use the fat and lye method (meaning Saponification?) or Melt and pour. There are a good variety of melt and pour bases (such as oatmeal and glycerin) that would be somewhat hypoallergenic. Then you should be mindful of anything you add (fragrance or essential oils). The other thing I can suggest is to talk with some of your friends/family to see what allergies they may have. Have fun! I use melt and pour once in a while to make festive soaps for my guest bathroom.Helpful Reply -

Label each one with the ingredients. It is typically t scents that people are allergic to. I am very allergic to rose / floral scented products. Many popular scents use rose oil.Helpful Reply -
