For most stains, a poultice will work. Mix water with baking soda to form a paste and leave it on the spot for several hours. It will absorb the stain. It may need to be repeated for bad stains. Rinse and seal the granite with stone sealer.

Krud Kutter is a safe environmental product. Grass and oil hold a lot of stains and it is safe for granite. Spray it on, let it set, wipe off. You can even use it on your laundry. It even has some that will get rid of rust. Look at the different kinds on Amazon. I love it.
