Rubbing Alcohol, so Many Uses!

Rubbing alcohol has so many great uses! From disinfecting surfaces to removing sticky substances to removing stinky smells and buildup! The list goes on, here are some ways I have found to use rubbing alcohol!
**Please keep in mind that rubbing alcohol can destroy some surfaces, like paint, wood and anything too porous. Use your best judgment**
Get a spray bottle that has a misting feature. That works best for most cases. I always get the highest percentage of isopropyl alcohol. 91% is my go to!
Try to do this before the stain dries.
Place the stained area tightly over a cup.
Slowly pour the rubbing alcohol over the stain until the stain is gone. Then wash!
Yes, this works for permanent marker too!
Spray inside the drum of your washing machine to help break up any build up and dissolve that nasty smell that’s left over time. Spray over the entire drum, manually spin the drum As you’re spraying. Then run a cycle of hot water.
Spray inside the the pieces of old furniture to get the musty smell out. This works for a smoke smell too. Repeat as necessary until smell is gone.
*DO NOT spray on a finish surface, this will ruin it”
Spray in the bottom of shoes to clean them from walking in stores or from anywhere really. Spray enough to soak the bottom.
Disinfect sinks and toilets. It helps remove smells from drains and toils bowls while it cleans!
Disinfect your vehicles floor mats and fabric. This not only kills germs it kills smells! Let your vehicle sit for a few hours and crack the windows. Your vehicle will smell fresh!
With what’s going on in the world today, you can’t be too careful. I mist my mail before bringing it into my home, I spray the mailbox too! I mist fabric and surfaces all over my home.
Isopropyl Alcohol removes sticky substances. It removes gum, slime and stickers easily.
Soak the affected area in alcohol. Use a papery towel to remove the gum or slime. Keep adding alcohol and repeat until it’s come play removed.
