I have a cleaning business and I found this way of cleaning windows to really be fast and effective. Great for Spring Cleaning! Click on over to the website to get all the details
Got dirty windows? Whip them into shape in no time. This method will have your windows clean in record time.
Gather supplies. Bucket of warm, slightly soapy water. Spray bottle of cleaner (recipe on website), a glass safe scrubby sponge, dry towels, and a squeegee. The recipe for the cleaner I make myself is here: My All Purpose Cleaner for Everything!
Spray on cleaner, be liberal with it, especially if your windows are extra dirty.
Cut thru grime and dirt with damp sponge. Remember, use the sponge side not the scrubber....Unless you have the blue glass safe scrubber shown in the photo with the supplies.
Run towel covered finger along edges to create a dry line. This is important, having the dry edge makes this part go so much faster!
Use your squeegee, I like to pull from top to bottom. Start in the dry line made by your towel and finger along the top and side. No need to touch up or wipe drips, there should be none. And you are done.
One note, good squeegee is a must.
Again, my recipe for my cleaner is here on the website: All Purpose Cleaner

Vinegarwater in a spraybottle & newspaper...one sheet takes off dirt, second sheet dries any leftovers... no streaks

I have tried vinegar before a few times. It just was not as effective, not as fast and it did leave streaks. Newspaper left black on my hands from ink running. I am glad it works for you.
