How to install cabinet and drawer hardware without messing it up or misplacing holes.
Installing cabinet hardware can leave your nice cabinets in ruins if not properly measured. Handles can end up crooked, you can accidentally make holes in the wrong spot, or a host of other things.
This is the simple and easy way to install drawer and cabinet hardware.
Align the Cabinet and Drawer Drilling Template and determine which holes represent where you want your handles to go by holding the handle up to the template while holding it to the cabinet.
Mark your holes with a pencil.
Drill your holes using a drill bit that corresponds to the intended screw size.
Install your handles by drilling the screws into the handle.
When complete, you will have dust from the holes that were drilled. You may want to put down something under where you will be drilling or be prepared to clean up the dust after complete.
